Hello There
Silence
Eyes closed
Darkness

Deep breath
Then floating
Inward I go
A moment

Detached from all
Neither happy
Nor sad
Muted

Reflective
Stillness
Sitting in a pocket
Of my thoughts

Something catches in my throat
I sigh
Tears tease my eyes
They fall

My cheeks welcome
The wet
The salty
Again
... I am floating

Feeling free
No expectations
Except to be
And in this space

I say Hello There
Me
