Why would people read my writing?
Why would they follow my imagery?
I am just a person.
Then I realized. 
Why not?
Yes, I am a person, but reading this, you are also a person.
We are all people.
The way that we are truly going to connect, inspire and serve is person to person...
honestly, openly, freely. 
... So now I share.

I'm sure you have all heard the phrase...
      Jack of all trades, master of none

This is a phrase that often tumbles into the forefront of my mind. In my 37 years, I have done so much, accomplished so much. I am proud of what I have done and experienced and I do not see it as "always changing my mind" or unknowing...
     but rather that everything is part of my Journey
          growing, learning, expanding, sharing...

I have learned that I must be doing a multitude of things to feel most whole.
 I need to engage my creativity.
  I need to inspire and connect.
     I need to immerse myself in all things Motherhood.
     I need to be learning and growing.
     I need to look for the beauty in things.
     I need to cook.
     I need the ocean and the woods.
     I need to dance, to write, to photograph
          ...to feel, to document, to share.

These things are ALL me and I am finding ways to engage myself in all of them while challenging myself and feeling fulfilled... while in doing so meeting and working with so many wonderful people.

To be SEEN and VALUED as someone who naturally orchestrates a wide variety of talents and passions,
and who does it well, is my goal.
To not be perceived as a master of none.

We are complex beings and it is OKAY to follow your heart, to incorporate your passions into your everyday life, to create a vision and follow through.
If it is truly what you desire, you will find a way...
and in doing so, you will not only feel your heart radiate truth, but you will also find that you will inspire, support, and connect others!

My Dad's words... "Jack of all trades, master of 3" ...
     I loved this!
A spin on the common phrase, and it inspired me.
     Yes, you can be good at a lot of things,
and YES you can still be a master.
     The number 3 is not significant...
it could be 3, 50, 600...
     It's the inspiration that matters,
the breaking free of the "none"

It may not be in everything that you do, but do not feel that just because you are multi-passionate, that you are not able to rise above mediocre...
because you can and you will shine!

You can lead a life embracing your many passions
and talents, both learned and innate.
Never believe that because you are multi-passionate, that you are not able to be a respected and successful master. Define for yourself what is a master.
Embrace it and go for it!

You will likely master some things more than others. You may be valued by others for some things more than others and this is okay. 
This too, will fluctuate and change over time as you evolve and continue to grow and learn.

Most importantly, value yourself
and be true to you!
